I can tell you that 2020 has been absolutely chaotic for weddings. With Covid forcing SO many couples to reschedule, re plan, finalize, then re plan again, my heart breaks for this hard time. Even though this year has been totally heartbreaking, its SO great to see couples still finding a way to make their love story still happen!
The meeting: Jess and Danny knew each other for a couple years before they started dating. Danny was friends with Jess’s cousin.
The proposal: Danny surprised Jess with a proposal under the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO, NYC. He got on his knees and asked under the most iconic and beautiful area in NYC. He also surprised her with bringing her sister and cousin along to witness the surprise proposal.
About the couple: Jess and Danny love their fur babies. They have 2 adorable cats and a new puppy. They love spending time cuddling together with their fur babies, taking little day trips together, adventuring together, laying on the beach and enjoying the park/nature.
Jess and Danny were supposed to get married at a NJ wedding venue this past September. With so many state mandates and restrictions in place, they decided to have their own wedding at their families personal home in Staten Island. Jess is a makeup artist and has the most beautiful taste in the glam boho and made the most BEAUTIFUL boho feel of their wedding. Highlights from this beautiful boho wedding includes dried floral bouquets, a STUNNING highly detailed gown, velvet bridesmaid dresses and STUNNING over the top flowers/herbs incorporated in their decor. Everything came together SO beautifully.
They were blessed with a beautiful day. The weather was beautiful, the sun was out. They got dressed with their parents / siblings by their side. They decided to have a STUNNING first look / portrait session at the beautiful local park in Staten Island- Conference House Park. Its located right along the river front with beautiful trees, and a historic stone house (which made a great backdrop!)
