Surprise proposal at Longwood Gardens.

Marc and I had spent quite some time scheming to surprise Katie at Longwood Gardens!

Marc had reached out looking for documentation of the important moment, at the beautiful Longwood Gardens, in Kennet Square PA.

Marc and I had mapped out the perfect spot to ask- under the stone bridge which is surrounded by a forrest path. After meeting in secret, many emails, and creating the perfect map to take her there, he was ready for the big day!

On a very HOT summers day in July, which was during a heatwave, I headed down to Longwood to scout out a perfect hiding spot to stealthily capture some sincere love as he asked. It was a day to remember and the couple joked they would never forget the day including just how blazing hot it was. Marc and Katie are a free spirited, fun couple, so they did not let the heat ruin their portrait time, which came after the big question.

Marc took Katie down the wooded path, and then dropped to his knees, to ask. Katie was all smiles and giggles and said YES.

Marc picked out the perfect ring for Katie, a beautiful colored stone which matched her nails and hair perfectly! Also- huge shoutout to Katie’s AMAZING hair color. It’s soooo gorgeous.

After standing back, and letting them embrace this special moment, I then took a few portraits afterwards of the newly engaged couple. Enjoy some highlights! CONGRATS to Marc & Katie!
